Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year. The last month has gone very quick an safe for the patrollers. Thanks
to all the patrollers who went out to help keep Lansdowne safe.
There is a new thing the thieves are doing now. I hope not in this area. When
you order an item and it is shipped UPS or FED X make sure you are home when it
is delivered or have your neighbor watch your HOME for delivery. The thieves
watch the delivery man leave a package and if no one comes out or answers the
door and leaves the package on your porch or steps the thief will steal your
package and USE YOUR name and order more items in your name and every time they
get delivered he will watch and after the driver leaves your item the THIEF will
pick it up and YOU will get a bill for the items the THIEF ordered in your name
with any information he got off the first package YOU never got. IDENTITY THIEF
is getting very bold today.
The patrollers volunteered (39) Thirty Nine hours this past month and made (2)
911 calls. Thank you for your time for doing a wonderful job. We also thank
Officer Rubie for helping us understand the law and certain things to watch for
while on patrol. Thank you Officer Rubie.
